The Malayan Express

Taken with my old Canon Powershot A70 from the Penang ferry, crossing back the mainland. I love the aspect of the ship and the brooding colours of the sky with a little blue peeking through.

The essence of photography for me still is capturing the moment.

Satria GTi – Taking Photos of Cars!

ShaolinTiger posted this at 1:28 pm on Thursday, July 13, 2006 —

Well one day shortly after I’d got my camera about 2 weeks ago, I was planning to go to FRIM to take some nice landscape shots and waterfalls and all that green business..

But it was horrible overcast rainy weather, so I washed my car and hung around, then decided as my car was so shiny I should take some pictures of it!

When shooting a car, diagonals are good, appreciate the sweeping lines of the car.

And one of the first things I learnt, was always turn the wheels to the side, it looks a lot better.

If the car has any interesting details, you can focus on those, decals, badges, bodykit etc.

The weather wasn’t great but I’m pretty happy with the pictures.

Make sure your car is nice and clean!
