What the… i bet they don’t know what’s a real “online submission” although they stated you could do online submission through Fujifilm website.

Once you registered, they will only direct you to order prints without giving you info on how to enter the contest.

Guess one still needs to get the prints done, but with Fuji, with the so call “online submission”.

try it or challenge it ?

I also ever heard such worried before about image
sent to contest copyright worried issue…
Most of them who think /worried doen’t ever
really think first : ‘ CAN YOUR IMAGE REALLY WIN ? ‘

If you join certain contest after read the offer prize given and you think you worth join it…then
take as you agree incase your image not win, all will be the organiser rights using it in either broucher or etc….
Use positive mind to enter….
In a lot International Contest also like this because I’ve a lot experience in it !
Too many worried to be focus or think again ‘ Are You Sure Your Image Good Enough To Qualified Win ? ‘

Join certain contest because every contest have thier owns rules….Don’t blame Malaysia Contest !
See those International NIKON or AUSTRIAN HASSABLADE CIRCUIT…..A lot still join and happy with it !
Even this year un-expected NIKON INTERNATIONAL….the changes rules is ‘ ALL IMAGING PHOTOGRAPHY NO MATTER HEAVY MANUPULATING OR NOT ARE ACCEPTED !!! ‘

Be Happy is not win too….don’t fussy much with rules ! Every country traffic rules not same also !

Yah the cost of printing is peanuts, especially as we know someone working in Fuji.

The main issue I have is the same as Lanatir and is the reason I don’t enter most of these contests, most are just a cheap way for them to get a whole load of pictures.

If they only claimed rights of winning pictures I wouldn’t have a problem as there’s a trade-off, you get a prize, they get your pic with full rights.

I just don’t like the fact they claim rights of ALL photographs entered.

Sadly most the competitions in Malaysia are like this, they really don’t respect the rights of the photographer.

it’s cheap to print now. my beef with this sort of competitions is that it’s a cheap way for organizer to obtain photos for their own use. i think it’s ok for them to have free license to use the photo if u actually win something… but just being an entry gives them this right – not too fair.

the only problem is you have to submit the photos printed with the fuji photo paper, digital submission is not accepted. $$$
